ROBOT Expedition Prague–Osaka: Watches That Unite Worlds

The visionary behind this expedition is Josef Zajíček, the founder of our brand. As the general partner, we are proud to bring together tradition and innovation—values that define both our watches and this extraordinary journey. Josef Zajíček will lead the expedition driving a 1959 Tatra 603, accompanied by other teams in iconic Czech classics such as the Škoda Octavia, Škoda 100, and Škoda 120. Spanning 11 countries, the route is a celebration of Czech design, engineering, and a passion for adventure.

One of the expedition’s patrons, Zdeněk Thoma, who led the legendary Sakura 1970 journey, shared his thoughts: “The adventure of discovery—seeing, hearing, and exploring—still fascinates me as much as it did back then. The ROBOT Expedition continues the spirit of our journey while adding its own unique message. I wish it great success and a smooth path ahead.” Thoma has been a guiding inspiration and supporter of the project.
