From Prague to Osaka. ROBOT Expedition Reaches the Finish Line.

One journey. Seven cars. 14,200 kilometers. ROBOT Expedition reached Osaka. The limited-edition OSAKA 2025 watch captures the spirit of that road.

More than 14,200 kilometers, eleven countries, thirty days on the road.
The ROBOT Expedition set out from Prague with a clear goal — to reach EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, in a convoy of historic vehicles. And it succeeded.

Seven vintage cars, their crews, and a small support team crossed borders, deserts, and mountains. They faced closed crossings, extreme heat, tight deadlines, and unexpected mechanical challenges. But they kept going — and arrived together, right on time.

The expedition culminated during the Czech National Day at EXPO, where the team was welcomed by President Petr Pavel, exactly one month after he officially launched the journey at Prague Castle.
The cars were displayed in front of the Czech Pavilion and admired by tens of thousands of visitors — including Japanese Princess Takamado, who showed genuine interest in the vehicles and the story behind them.

A Journey That Reflected ROBOT’s Values

Leading the expedition was Josef Zajíček, founder of ROBOT, who completed the entire journey in a classic Tatra 603. His words captured the spirit of the trip:
“It was a ride. Long, demanding, and unforgettable. We proved that when something is made with care — whether it’s an engine or a watch — it can overcome any challenge.”

The expedition echoed the values that define the ROBOT brand: craftsmanship, endurance, precision, and trust. It was never just about the cars — it was about the people behind them.

The Watch That Carries the Story

To mark this extraordinary journey, ROBOT created a very limited edition watch: OSAKA 2025.

The name pays tribute to both the destination and the meaning behind the expedition.
The dial features stylized silhouettes of the vintage cars, capturing the steady rhythm of a moving convoy. Every mechanical detail reflects the engineering, durability, and spirit that powered the journey across continents.
