The ROBOT Josef Mašín Limited Edition was created as a tribute to a man whose life story is inseparably linked with courage, freedom and the determination to resist oppression. It is the first model in the new LEGENDS collection, dedicated to Czech personalities and stories whose legacy transcends their time.

Josef Mašín was born into a family for whom freedom was the highest value. The lives of his parents, as well as his own, were shaped first by Nazi occupation and later by communist totalitarian rule. Despite this, he never lost his belief that some values are worth fighting for.

In 1953, together with his brother Ctirad and other members of their resistance group, he set out on a journey to West Berlin. Their goal was not to seek a better life in exile, but to undergo military training and return to Czechoslovakia to continue resisting a regime they considered oppressive.

The story of Josef Mašín is reflected in every detail of this limited edition. The motif of the Iron Curtain, the route from Poděbrady to Berlin, Josef Mašín’s original signature on the dial and the inscription “ZATÍM DOBRÝ” “ (So Far, So Good) on the caseback all commemorate the decisions that shaped his life.

Powered by a mechanical movement with an eight-day power reserve, the edition is limited to just 32 pieces. Each watch serves as a reminder that time is measured not only in hours and minutes, but also in the values by which we choose to live.
