Czech Oldtimer Express 2026 has reached its destination. After five days and more than 2,300 kilometres across Europe, 43 crews in classic cars arrived in Naples, where this year’s edition was symbolically concluded with an awards ceremony held on a boat.

The rally started on April 28 at the National Technical Museum in Prague, with the first car flagged off by Czech President Petr Pavel. The route led through Innsbruck, Lake Garda, Siena and the Amalfi Coast all the way to Naples — from alpine mountain passes to the south of Italy.
One of the most memorable stages led through the Brenner Pass and the legendary Trento–Bondone hill climb route — a demanding road full of tight corners and elevation changes that quickly revealed what the rally is really about. Further south, the atmosphere changed completely as crews navigated the narrow roads and chaotic traffic of the Amalfi Coast.
Czech Oldtimer Express is about the journey — and journeys do not always go according to plan. The oldest car in the field, a 1925 Ansaldo, had to retire shortly after the start due to technical issues. Other crews managed unexpected situations and mechanical problems along the way and still reached Naples with what matters most — an experienceimpossible to plan.

Results
We congratulate the winners of both main categories, who received watches from the limited Aplos Czech Oldtimer Express 2026 edition by ROBOT.
The pre-1950 category was won by a 1948 Jaguar Mk IV, while the Classic category victory went to a 1968 Citroën DS21 Henri Chapron.
ROBOT on the road
ROBOT was naturally part of the entire journey — not only as a partner, but also through the people taking part in it. Along the route, it was possible to spot owners wearing our watches, Robotic One designer Marcus Eilinger, as well as watch journalist Martin Green.
ROBOT watches were part of the journey from start to finish — from alpine mountain passes to southern Italy. Exactly the kind of environment they are made for.
A growing community
This year once again proved that Czech Oldtimer Express is more than just a drive. The starting grid welcomed many new crews, naturally joining those who return year after year.
The event continues to build on previous editions — Istanbul (2023), Athens (2024) and Nice (2025) — steadily shaping a tradition with a clear direction and identity.
Looking ahead
“We have completed another edition that confirmed Czech Oldtimer Express has a strong identity and a solid place on the scene. I would like to thank all crews, partners and the entire organising team. None of this would be possible without them,” says Josef Zajíček, founder and main organiser of the event.
Czech Oldtimer Express once again proved that it is not only about the destination.
It is about the journey — and the moments you take away from it.
